She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Thompson and Francis Basore Thompson; her former husband Robert J. Montgomery; and her husband Ralph J. Williams. She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Montgomery (Debbie) of North Wilkesboro and Mari Letterman of Catawba County; her stepsons, Greg Williams (Joan) of Myrtle Beach and Eric Williams (Gwyn) of North Wilkesboro; and her sister-in-law Georgia Aldridge of Kansas. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
