He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Harrison and Mertie Royal Wagoner; his wife Lockie Marie Absher Wagoner; his son Timothy Gordon Wagoner; his grandchildren, Jason Randall Elledge and Christina Hope Brown; and his siblings, Odell, Vernon, Ray Wagoner, Marie Royal, Chessie Mae Shumate and Vener Royal.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Wagoner Plyler (George) of Rock Hill, Glenna Minton (Donnie) of Granite Falls, Levonda Rutherford Griffin (Tim) of McGrady and Daniel Wagoner (Kim) of Woodruff; his sisters, Gladys Stamper of McGrady, Lorene Wood of McGrady and Peggy Jean Edwards (Junior) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Vicie Renee Rutherford, April Wagner, Cherdawna Brittian, Adrianna Rutherford, Duran King and Harvey Wagoner, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Cole Rutherford, Christian Rutherford, Scott Wagner, Jr., Alisha Brittian Munson, Skylar Wagner, Candace Brittian, Tori Wagner, Faith Rutherford, Hunter Wagoner, Samaria Wagoner, Brooklyn Brittian and Sierra King. He is also survived by 9 great great grandchildren.
