We bid farewell to William Edgar Harris (North Wilkesboro, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 81. William Edgar touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his wife Patty Harris (Staley); his children, Norman Harris, Crystal Mitchell (Jeff) and William Harris; his stepson J. David Simmons (Vanessa); and his sister Becky Absher (Troy). He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

The lying in state was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mountain Park Cemetery (Wilkesboro, NC 28697). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
