It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicki Jean Walker Brown of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Seaford, Delaware, who passed away on October 5, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Joe and Myrtle Reba Hawkins Walker; her husband Rickie H. Brown; her daughter Rustie Brown Wiles; her granddaughter Sadie Wiles; and her siblings, Tammy Joan T. J. Cole, Richard and Tommy Walker.
She is survived by: her daughter Crystal Ashley Brown (Dustin Rhodes) of North Wilkesboro; her granddaughters, Haylee Wiles and Patience Abigail Hart; her son-in-law Jason Wiles of Florence; her sisters, Shirley Beshears of Purlear and Joeann Pollard (Bobby) of Jefferson; her uncle Steve Walker (Janice) of Winston Salem; and her close friend Frank Royal of Millers Creek.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Chapel (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
