He was predeceased by: his parents, Tim N. D. and Barbara Mae Minton Byers. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Byers of North Wilkesboro; his children, Jason Byers (Monica) of Wilkesboro, Angie Byers (Anthony) of Wilkesboro and Chris Cleary of Hays; his grandchildren, Joshua Byers of Wilkesboro, Connor Byers of Wilkesboro, Allen Maltba of Wilkesboro and Nicolette Byers of Wilkesboro; his friends, Dustin and Tori Adams of Wilkesboro; his close friend Little Buddy; and his siblings, John Byers (Angela) of Millers Creek, Mark Byers (Robin) of Gamewell and Regina Sheets of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
