He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Prevette and Hope Jones Prevette; and his brother Steve Prevette. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Pierce Prevette of North Wilkesboro; his stepchildren, Stephanie Workman (Chadd) of Texas, Sabrina Martin (Morgan) of Glade Valley, Melody Stone (Samuel) of Missouri, Jason Ashley (Teresa) of Asheboro and Heather Elder (Tony) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Kaytlin Garcia, Ashlyn Miller (Ricky), AJ Ashley (KC), Tanner Elder, CJ Workman, Brendan McLain and Isaiah Stone; his brother Doug Prevette (Patricia) of Lenoir; his sister-in-law Jenny Prevette of Rock Creek; his aunt Betty Ann Foster of Wilkesboro; and his uncle Receel Prevette of New Mexico. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and fur babies.
