It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Johnson of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bryant and Erma Hayes Johnson; his former spouse Ollie Mae Absher Johnson; his granddaughter Jessica Danielle Welborn; his great grandchild Eric Denton Spears; and his siblings, Junior Johnson, Terry Johnson, Clint Johnson and Ruby Dean Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Riley Johnson; his children, Thomas Keith Johnson (Laurie) of North Wilkesboro, Lynn Perry (Arvie) of Sparta, Tammy Porter (Mark) of Boomer, Wendy Woodward (Andy) of Lexington and Misty Smith (Bryan) of Ronda; and his siblings, Jerry Johnson (Jane), Edith Foster, Sadie Woods, Evelyn Masoncup (Edgar), Sue Kastner (Jurgen) and Wanda Parsons (Bobby). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
