He is survived by: his wife Bronda Royal of North Wilkesboro; his children, Jennifer King (Don) of Millers Creek, Jamie Royal (Kelly) of Purlear, Jason Royal, Melissa of North Wilkesboro and Joanna Williams (Matt) of Millers Creek; his stepmother Betty Royal of Purlear; his siblings, Fred Brown (Rita) of North Wilkesboro, Janice Combs of Purlear, Audrey Blevins of Purlear and Sandra Blevins of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Shana, Brandon, Anthony, Zachary and Joshua; and his great grandchild Rylie.
