She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom Edgar Minton and Connie Lee Parker Minton; her husband Lake Arlen Prevette; and her sisters, Edna Lee Wright and Darcie Lee Call.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Melissa Hunter Eason (Eric) of Ft. Myers, FL and Elizabeth Prevette Fassinger (Dan) of North Wilkesboro; her great grandchildren, Sarah Lin Fassinger, Emily Leann Fassinger and Julianna Marie Eason; and also Edgar R. Minton of Millers Creek.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery (11635 Statesville Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
