He is survived by: his wife Sharri Porter; his children, Jennifer Lackey Foster (Chad) and Ryan Lackey of North Wilkesboro; his mother Marjoree Lambert Mathena; his stepfather Edward Lee Mathena "Pops" of North Wilkesboro; and his brother James Michael Lackey (Kim) of North Wilkesboro.
