She was predeceased by: her parents, Loadice Joseph Provost and Aline Marie Dody Provost; the father of her children Howard Wilborn Blackburn Sr.; and her siblings, Fredrick Provost, Willie Provost, Joseph Provost, Fred Provost Loadice Provost Jr. and Shelia Pollock.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Blevins of Wilkesboro, Rosana Byer of Johnson City, TN, Howard Blackburn Jr. of Pikeville and Fredrick Blackburn of Boone; and her brother Edward Provost. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
