We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2023, at the age of 87, Sharon Becket Burkenbine of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Heppner, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrold Becket and Ruby Becket. She is survived by: her children, Mike Burkenbine of Los Angeles, California, Tamara Burkenbine of Wilkesboro and Mickie Shaver (Darrell) of Sandy Ridge, NC; her grandchildren, Ricky VanMeter (Amanda), Dusty VanMeter, Brooke, Eden Burkenbine, Elijah Burkenbine, Matthew Shaver, Kayeanna Smith, Kaley Shaver and Matthew R. Shaver; her great grandchildren, Madalyn VanMeter, River VanMeter, Kelih Collins, Peytan Shaver, Ryker Shaver, Jameson Thompson, Brooks Thompson and Ava Thompson; and her nieces and nephews, Terry Lee Burkenbine (Merlie), Nikki Greene (Mark), Linda Travis (Jimmy) and Wayne Burkenbine (Marian).
