He is survived by: his mother Betty Sue Adkins Byrd of North Wilkesboro; his children, Breanna Osborne (Thomas) of Purlear and Dameon Byrd of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Daniel Bratton of Purlear, Harper Bratton of Purlear and Ayden Osborne of Purlear; and his brothers, Tim Byrd (Amanda) of North Wilkesboro and Jason Rowan Byrd of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
