With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Kay Mitchell of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Leon and Gertrude McGuire Cook; her husband Kenneth Mitchell; and her sister Glenda Harmon. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Mitchell Call of North Wilkesboro, Kevin Mitchell of North Wilkesboro and Keith Mitchell (Melissa) of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Selina Clark (William) of Kingsport, Emily Johnson (Stephen) of North Wilkesboro, Jenna Walker (Josh) of North Wilkesboro, Graylen Mitchell (Hannah) of North Wilkesboro and Eli Mitchell of North Wilkesboro; her great grandchildren, Trentyn Walker of North Wilkesboro, Mason Walker of North Wilkesboro, Levi Clark of Kingsport and Lucas Clark of Kingsport; her brother-in-law Sam Harmon; and her niece Jennifer Green.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Grove Baptist Church (5899 Liberty Grove Church Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
