She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James "Jimmy" Samuel Bryant and Geneve Byrd Bryant; her husband Kyle Wood; and her siblings, Walter, John, Robert, Vaughn, Everette Bryant, Mae Alexander, Marie Blackburn, Tessie Stone, Ethel Adams, Beatrice Higgins and Bertha Ward.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Wood Alexander of North Wilkesboro; her grandson David Alexander (Chasity) of North Wilkesboro; her great grandchildren, Ava Alexander and David Hensiek; and her brother David Bryant (Sharon) of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
