She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis William Brungard and Jane Agnes Quay Brungard. She is survived by: her sons, David R. Whitman (Jennifer) of Wilkesboro and William B. Whitman (Debra) of Strausberg, PA; her grandchildren, Matthew D. Whitman of North Wilkesboro, Adam D. Whitman of Boulder, CO and Sarah E. Gillette of Connecticut; and her great grandchild Jonathan Gillette.
