He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Faire and Stacy Vetrice Williams Foster; and his siblings, Sara Whitlock, Ruby Norman, Faire and J. R. Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Beshears Foster of Virginia; his children, Lynda Mull (Mark) and Kevin Foster (Brandie) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Logan Mull, Corey Mull, Alyssa Craig and Shaun Brooks; his great grandchildren, Braylen Mull, Camlee Mull, Ben Craig, Maylee Craig and Caroline Brooks; and his sisters, Kathleen Miller of State Road, Vertie Presley of North Wilkesboro, Anne Elledge of Wilkesboro and Betty Brown of North Wilkesboro.
