He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin George Washington Brown and Fannie Brooks Brown; and his siblings, Dan Brown, Mack Brown, Jim Brown, Dallas Brown and Katherine Shore.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Kathleen Elmore Brown; his children, Angelia Gamble (Robert) of Elkin, Hope Combs of Carolina Beach, Randall Brown (Elicia) of North Wilkesboro and Amanda Bauguess (Dwayne) of Roaring River; and his siblings, Jane Wagoner (Jerry) of Hamptonville, Patty Sebastian (Junior) of Hamptonville, Shirley Willard (Sam) of Hamptonville and Joe Brown (Helen) of Hamptonville. He is also survived by Twelve grandchildren, twenty-four, great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews.
