He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie William and Blanch Mullis Jones; and his wife Lilly Lyons Jones. He is survived by: his son Robert Jones II (Cindy) of North Wilkesboro; his brothers, Rex Jones of West Jefferson and Ronnie Jones of Statesville; and his great grandchild Annabelle Cooper of Wilkes.
