He was predeceased by: his father Robert Bruce Gwyn; and his brother Steven Nathaniel Gwyn. He is survived by: his mother Aveline Brown; his stepfather Rev. Raymond Brown Jr.; his brother Chris Gwyn (Crystal); his children, Kaleigh Gwyn, Kayleigh Lytton, Tivon Gwyn, Zamian Gwyn, Jovaughn Gwyn and William Smith; and his uncles, Wayne Banks, Luther Banks and Clifford Hamilton (Ellenor). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and over 100 cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cox's Grove Baptist Church (260 East Crooked Bowl Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
