He is survived by: his wife Janie Dancy Farmer; his sons, David Farmer (Christina) of North Wilkesboro, Timmy Laws (Kimberly) of Millers Creek and Ricky Laws (April) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Chris Laws, Grace Laws and Douglas Scott Laws; and his brothers, George Farmer (Martha) of Grayson, VA and Jerry Farmer of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
