With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard B. Williams of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Avery and Roxie Lankford Williams; his sons, Richard B. Williams, Jr. and John Robert Williams; and his siblings, Coy Lankford, Don Williams, Ernest Williams and Reba Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Porter Williams; his brother Floyd Williams (Shirley) of Millers Creek; his children, Ricky D. Williams (Rhonda) of Wilkesboro, Randy P. Hawkins (Kayla) of Hays, Mary Kay Williams of Greensboro and Kathy Motsinger (James) of Boomer; his grandchildren, Amanda Owens (Shane), Richie Williams (Kris), Dustin Wright (Brooke), Emily Cox (Marcus) and Austin Motsinger; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Owens, Lynnon Williams, Jonah Wright, Beau Wright, Carter Cox and Camden Cox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
