He was predeceased by: his parents, Philo Miller and Lillie Osborne Miller; his wife Nancy Lee Miller; his brother Earl Miller; and his grandson Matthew Miller.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda Billings (Darryl) of Rock Creek, Keith Miller (Susan Hess) of North Wilkesboro and Billy Miller (Delores) of Rock Creek; and his brothers, Don Miller of Wilkesboro, Carl Miller of Millers Creek and Bill Miller of Moravian Falls. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Raymond and I are double first cousins and grew up together, we laughed, played and sometimes fought each other but it was all done with love for each other. I was with him the first time he met his wife. He loved her with all his heart and soul they could not be torn apart no matter what came their way. I loved Raymond and will meet him again in Heaven. Rest IN Peace my dear cousin. Bobby Miller”
