He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ravaughn and Betty Byers Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Donna Braxton Ashley; his sons, Ryan Ashley (Maria), Travis Ashley (Dani) and Tyler Ashley (Kate); his grandchildren, Payton, Easton, Brooks and Ray; his brother Lyn Ashley (Cindy); his niece Veronica Smith (Jacob); and his nephew Austin Ashley (Natalie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Chapel (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
