She was predeceased by: her father Frank; her husband Calvin Coolidge Craighead; her son Ronald Lee Craighead; and her siblings, Mabel Whitlock, Virginia Whitlock, Howard Whitlock, Clyde Whitlock, Frederick Whitlock, Louis Whitlock, Melvin Whitlock, William Whitlock and Roger Whitlock.
She is survived by: her son Gordon Douglas Craighead (Diane) of Hickory; her daughter-in-law Ann Knott Craighead of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Jessica Diane Craighead Stone (Andrew), Jennifer Allyse Craighead Farrington (Frank) and Randall Chad Craighead (Sam Boyd); her sisters, Peggy Whitlock Carroll of Blacksburg, VA and Barbara Jane Whitlock Doyle of Roanoke, VA; and her sister-in-law Betty Hale Whitlock of Blacksburg, VA..
