Though Peggy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Peggy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Selma Wilder and Guston Wilder; and her brother Jimmy. She is survived by: her husband Bud; her family Bud; her sons, Brent (Dina) and Steve (Melinda); her sister Iva; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Jessica and Logan (Katherine); and her great grandchild Paige.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Wilkesboro Presbyterian Church (804 E St, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
