Pauline Shew Souther Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2024, at the age of 88, Pauline Shew Souther of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Shew and Kathaleen Glass Shew; her husband William Lawson Souther; her siblings, Kathy Anderson, Thurmond Shew, Jim Shew, Wayne Shew, Rocky Shew, Dean Shew and Roy Duke Shew; her great grandchildren, Alan Maltba, Jonathan Souther, Ryan Moore and Kiersten Dula; and her sons-in-law, Clyde Anderson and Jerry Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Anderson, Cathy Roberts (Wade Roten), Johnny Souther (Barbara), Jane Pierce (Tony) and Donna Moore; her grandchildren, Tammy Mabe (Mike), Christy Maltba, Anthony Maltba (Angie), Jessica Carque (Bryan), Christopher Souther, Eric Pierce (Tiffany), Chase Moore, Layken Benfield (Alan) and Jerry Lee Myers (Tabitha); and her sister Virginia Gryder. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brother's-in-law, and sister's-in-law.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery (2794 Mt Sinai Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
