She is survived by: her children, Sherry Brooks of Wilkesboro, Liz Calloway (Michael) of Weaverville, Joe Brooks (Donna) of North Wilkesboro and Jim Brooks (Amy) of Salisbury; her grandchildren, David Brooks (Andrea) of Huntsville, AL, Daniel Brooks (Shekinah) of Winston-Salem, Ryan Smith (Hannah) of Linwood, NC, Clinton Calloway of Weaverville, NC, Anna Brooks of Raleigh and Patrick Brooks of Jonesboro, AR; her great grandchildren, Eleanor Brooks and Kaiden Swicegood; and her sisters, Linda Settle (Bobby) of Troutman, NC and Brenda Welborn of Wilkesboro.
