She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Caswell and Viola Brown Taylor; her husband James Silas "Jimmy" Church, Sr.; her son James Silas Church, Jr. of North Wilkesboro; her grandson Joshua Bailey; and her siblings, R. C. Taylor, Argyle Wardell, Paul Taylor and James Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Malinda Broyhill (Ralph) of Millers Creek, Debra Bailey (Scott) of North Wilkesboro, Tammy Summers (John) of Garden City, Michigan, Rickie Church of Concord, Gary Church (Dana) of Statesville, Tony Church (Tammie) of North Wilkesboro, Chris Church of Charleston and Randy Cleary of North Wilkesboro; her sister Nancy Ayers of Newton; and her close friend Sue Brown of Millers Creek. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
