He was predeceased by: his parents, Linza Michael, Sr. and Minnie Alverta "Vertie" Carlton Cook; his wife Bonnie Sue Brookshire Cook; and his siblings, Becky Nichols, Ann Pierce and Ledford Cook.
He is survived by: his niece Teresa Cook Taylor; and his friend Mike. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
