He is survived by: his parents, John Davenport (Patsy) and Rosetta Parks Davenport; his wife Lola Bailey Davenport of Moravian Falls; his daughter Nakieshia Paine; his brother John Davenport, Jr. of Anchorage, AK; his half-siblings, Tina Brown of Wilkesboro and Shaun Davenport of Winston-Salem; his stepbrother Joseph Weaver of Winston-Salem; and his stepchildren, Natalie Simpson of Hickory and Jerry Simpson II of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
