It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Jane Holbrook Goss of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardin Holbrook and Annie Hincher Holbrook; her husband Gordon "Buster" Goss, Sr.; her children, Gordon Augustus Goss, Jr., Ronald Jay Goss, David Goss and Debra Goss; and her brother William Blaine Holbrook.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Goss (Lytane) of Hays, Kay Goss of North Wilkesboro, Patricia Plummer (Ray) of North Wilkesboro and Wanda Ellis (Benny) of North Wilkesboro; and her grandchildren, Melissa Huffman, Marsha Chavez (Joseph), Teresa Stone (Matthew), Alicia Wolfe (Billy), Sgt. Greg Goss (Lotche), Jonathan Plummer, Dillon Ellis (Beth) and Whitney Casstevens. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
