It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Brooks Souther (North Wilkesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Brooks and Mary Elmore Brooks; and her sister Leta Hamby. She is survived by: her husband Alvin Souther Sr.; her children, Mary Alice Harris (Robert Harris) of North Wilkesboro, NC, Alvin Souther Jr. (Robin Souther) of Lake Wales, FL and Paula Sommerville (Jimmy Sommerville) of Sanford, NC; her grandchildren, Joshua Harris, Jonathan Harris, Tosha Randall, Bradly Souther, Kyler Preece, Michael Brown, Landria Dice and Haylie Brown; her great grandchildren, LaKoda, Kora, Kyndal, Nivaya, Gavin, Averi, Breanna, Willow, DaKota, Adaline, Caden and Wrenley; and her siblings, Lena, Linda, Lisa, Steve, Tony and Bobby. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
