She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Killen Handy of North Wilkesboro; her granddaughter Amy Handy Lankford (Will) of Wilkesboro; her great grandchildren, Austin Lankford, Ethan Lankford and Erin Lankford; and her daughter-in-law Carolyn Faw Killen of Millers Creek.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). The lying in state was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery-Millers Creek.
