She is survived by: her children, Mary Mahala (Cody) of North Wilkesboro and Louis Carlos Pena of North Wilkesboro; her brother Eugene Summerlin of Hays; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown of Banner Elk, Jackson Mahala of North Wilkesboro, Storm Mahala of North Wilkesboro, Nevaeh Pena of Taylorsville, Amber Church of Millers Creek and Nicole Church of Millers Creek; her stepgrandson A. J. Smith; and her great grandchildren, Mattie Davis of Millers Creek and James Davis of Millers Creek.
