She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Alma Shumate Gryder; and her sisters, Gladys Gore, Ruby Foster, Grace Staley and Patsy Seagraves.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Wyatt (Tony) of North Wilkesboro and Ronnie Owens of North Wilkesboro; her brothers, Robert Lee Gryder (Lydia) of Winston Salem and Michael Gryder of North Wilkesboro; and her grandchildren, Derek Owens, Alyssa Wyatt, Draken Owens, Alexa Owens and Liam Owens.
