He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wayne and Ella Mae Osborne Pierce; his former wife Thomasine Pierce; his wife Kathy Pierce; and his siblings, Carolyn Adams, Kenneth, James and J. C. Pierce.
He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce Miller of North Wilkesboro and Joanna Pierce Felts (Billy) of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mountlawn Memorial Park (196 Fan Key Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
