He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Westover and Visa Trivette Westover; his wife Colene Westover; his children, Thomas Killian and Judith Morrow; and his sisters, Hazel Snow Hall, Elizabeth Davis and Elaine Westover.
He is survived by: his children, Lewis Westover, III (Sandy) of Lenoir, Willa Kyle (Felix) of Lenoir, Colanne Johnson (Bill) of Boone and Amy Medley (Joseph) of North Wilkesboro; and his sister Mary Taylor of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
