She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene "E. C." Pruitt and Fannie Carver Pruitt; and her siblings, Harvey, Kenny, Clarence, Lonnie Pruitt, Jewel Pruitt, Meuriel Shepherd, Arnie Howell, Reba Leighton and Jane Lassister.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Bare of North Wilkesboro and Pam Williams (Tommy) of Millers Creek; her grandchildren, Matt Bare (Michelle) of Wilkesboro, Megan Eller (Westley) of Purlear and Ethan Williams (Rachel) of Wilkesboro; her great grandchildren, Lily, Sara Grace, Easton, Wyatt, Anna and Emma; and her siblings, Marty Brown of Wilkesboro, Mary Hebbard of North Wilkesboro, Charlotte and Jerry Pruitt (Joyce) of Laurel Springs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
