He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillard Vaughn and Maurine Miller Sheets; and his sister Margret Carol Sheets. He is survived by: his wife Daphene Watts Sheets; his son Jimmy Wayne (Monica Parsons Sheets) of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Brianna Paige Sheets of Millers Creek and Michael J. Smith Sheets of Millers Creek; his siblings, Paul Dean Sheets (Carol) of Maryland and Martha Sheets Whittington of Millers Creek; and also Sarah Robinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
