It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Johnston of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Marion, Virginia, who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Fern Owens and Carey Byron Johnston; and his brothers, Ken Johnston and Tim Johnston. He is survived by: his grandmother Lea Tackett Johnston; his sons, Gregory Byron Johnston (Markia Johnston) of North Wilkesboro, Jonathan Fitzgerald Johnston (Sue Ann) of Hays and Bradley Cameron Johnston of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, David Anthony Stone, Alicia Johnston Dilbeck, Dustin C. Bare, Blake Johnston and Tyler J. Bauguess; his great grandchildren, Ava Stone, Ansley Stone, Anna Bella Stone, Haylee Dilbeck, Rhett Bare, Braylen Kilby and Baby Bauguess; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Edmiston of North Wilkesboro, Joe Johnston of Wilkesboro and Mike Johnston of Haymarket, VA..
