He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ray "Doc" and Sally McNeil Cleary; and his sister Patty Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his son Randall Angela (Paola); his grandchildren, Rachel and Alexandre of Aruba; his siblings, Gwyn Cleary of North Wilkesboro, Judy Faw (Mike) of Purlear, JoAnn Sutton (Jeff) of High Point and Sandra Church (Kirk) of Millers Creek; and his brother-in-law Robert Hardin of Mooresville.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Gideon's International South Camp, PO Box 323, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
