She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph S. Wessinger and Jessie Oxner Wessinger; her husband William Clegg Scroggs, Jr.; and her son William Clegg Scroggs III of Moravian Falls, N. C.. She is survived by: her son John Wessinger Scroggs; her grandson William Clegg Scroggs, IV; and her granddaughter-in-law Emily Michelle Scroggs (Scroggs) of Wilkes County, N. C..
