She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Forrest Pardue and Ever Prevette Pardue; her husband John William "Dub" Canter, Jr.; and her siblings, Elouise Pardue Church and Don Pardue.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa "Teri" Canter (Patrick Zander) of Wilkesboro, NC and Lyn Canter (Mark Sonnenfeld) of Lafayette, CO; her granddaughter Eva Coringrato (England) of Cambridge; her sister-in-law Carol Henderson Pardue of Wilkesboro, NC; and her brothers, Carlos Pardue of Wilkesboro, NC, Fred Pardue (Jane) of Clemson, SC and Tommy Pardue (Diana) of Boydton, VA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
