He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Dean. He is survived by: his mother Glenda Reavis Cody of North Wilkesboro; his daughter Brooke Caudill of North Wilkesboro; his granddaughter Keziah Caudill; his daughter Hannah Summers of Wilkesboro; and his sisters, Barbara Utt (Danny) of Wilkesboro, Marsha Cody of Hays and Sheila Key of Jonesville. He is also survived by several nieces and one nephew.
