He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Glenda Lea Price Bentley; his parents, Benjamin Franklin Sr. and Ruby Brown Bentley; his children, Debbie Dancy of Roaring River, Thomas Barker of Ashe County and James Barker of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, James Barker, Tanner Barker, Alex Barker, Roy Grubb, Brianne Barker, April Oliber and Danny King; his great grandchildren, Jared Dimmette and Trinity Tutterow; his great great grandchild Dallas Dimmette; and his nephew Ben Bentley (Lynn) of Winston-Salem.
