He was predeceased by: his parents, Trya Vaughn and Dina Blevins Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Stanley Gentry; and his siblings, Cindy Diane Bauguess (Larry) of Roaring River, Wendy Gaye Anderson (Tony) of Hays, Tanya Kimberly Brooks (Gary) of Wilkesboro and Charles Vaughn Gentry (Brenda) of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
