He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Worth and Elizabeth Combs Prevette; and his brothers, Wayne Shelton "Shag" Prevette and William Robert Prevette. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Boggs (Steven) of Chapel Hill and James Zackery "Zac" Prevette of Chapel Hill; his grandchildren, Jake of Chapel Hill, Mena of Chapel Hill and Jonah of Chapel Hill; and his brother Perry Prevette (Kathy) of North Wilkesboro.
