He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Blaine" Pilkington and Ruth Beatrice Byrd Pilkington; and his brothers, Robert Lynn Pilkington and Ronald Lee Pilkington. He is survived by: his pet Jack; his wife Nancy Pilkington; his daughter Karen Holloway (Ernie) of North Wilkesboro; his stepdaughter Stephanie Wheeler (Scott) of Anna, Texas; his son Jason Pilkington of North Wilkesboro; his stepson Charles Heater (Jamie) of Millers Creek; and his sisters, Shirley Caudill of Mulberry, Janice Pilkington of Mulberry and Shelby Blackburn (Reggie) of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to a charity of the donors choice.
