He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Hamby and Inez Faw Hamby; and his grandparents, Alonzo and Agnes Mash Faw. He is survived by: his brothers, Ted A. Hamby (JR), Mike Hamby (Suzanne) of Wilkesboro and Doug Hamby (Marquita) of North Wilkesboro; his nieces and nephews, Jody (Bethaney), Michelle (Rob), Christy (David), Summer (Jason) and Amber (Jason); and his great-nieces, Haylie, Taylor, Abbie, Marley and Jazlyn.
